Aquamin wins “Ingredient of the Year”
Marigot Ltd.’s Unique Marine Multi-Mineral Complex Named Amongst Top Ingredients, Supplements, and Finished Products at Vitafoods Europe
GENEVA, SWITZERLAND — Aquamin was honored as the 2016 Ingredient of the Year in the Healthy Ageing category at the annual NutraIngredients Awards. Winners were announced at the NutraIngredients Awards dinner on May 11, 2016 as a part of Vitafoods Europe in Geneva, Switzerland.

Ingredients in the Healthy Ageing category were critiqued on scientific merit, efficacy, safety, innovation, market potential, product formulation, and ability to increase market credibility. Additionally, the ingredient must have reflected current scientific or commercial advancement beyond current knowledge, and have been commercially introduced after January 1, 2014. Runners-up for the Ingredient of the Year award include COCOACTIV by Naturex, and Cognizin® Citicoline by Kyowa Hakko Bio Italia S.R.L.
